The Red Couch

Robert Scoble & Shel Israel are writing what will probably become the definitive book on business blogging. The Red Couch should be released sometime in 2006. (Seems like a long wait doesn't it)

Neville Hobson has a good post to bring you up to date on the progress of the book.

Writing books about emerging technologies has always been a tricky business. Authors run the risk of putting the book to bed and missing a major shift in the marketplace in the space of a few weeks.

Imagine if Scoble & Israel had sent the final draft to the press two weeks ago. Perhaps a chapter of the book would have dealt with Comment Spam issues, which as I talked about yesterday, may soon be a thing of the past.
