Blog Burnout Infectious?

Blog burnout seemed to me the meme of the day last week, but Steve Rubel and Neville Hobson wrote about it as well as a few others.

I also got a little burned out over the past few weeks. A hectic travel schedule from public speaking/presentations about blogging and other work caught up with me in the form of strept throat a few weeks ago. That put me down for over a week, causing all the other work to pile up. Looking over at the calendar on my blog shows many empty days. I am finally able to spend time on the blog again. It's scary when you open up your RSS reader and see 1000+ unread items.

I have also finally been able to get back on the bike, slowly rebuilding the form I used to have. The goal is to be able to spend 3-4 hours per day on the bike like I used to. How will that effect the blogging? We'll see, but I've rather be on my bike than in front of the computer.
