My second BlackBerry 7290 in less than 4 months has died.
Right after the first of the year I ditched my BlackBerry 7280 with AT&T Wireless and moved to a 7290 on Cingular. After 32 days my first unit stopped sending any voice. I could hear everybody, but they could not hear me. Cingular swapped out my device for a new one.
Now the latest unit will not send or receive any data. I spent an hour on the phone with tech support today, trying every possible soft reset, hard reset and 'shock' to no avail. Tech support verdict: you need a new device.
So it is off to the Cingular store tomorrow to get a new one! Third time lucky!
