A Good Character Blog: Buster's Blog

There has been a great deal of talk today about character blogs, some good, some bad. I really think it depends on the circumstances. I would submit that Buster's Blog is a good character blog.

The blog is Buster's travel log from his show Postcards from Buster. The web site loosely fits the blog format, but it is a 'fake/character' blog. Is it a 'complete waste' as Steve Rubel says about character blogs? Perhaps to you and me, but not to my 3 year-old son.

Remember Buster made the national news earlier this year when the Department of Education discussed not funding the show anymore because an episode featured a lesbian couple. Buster's Blog was featured in that story becuase Buster's entry about that show could be found on the blog before the show aired (it has since been removed).
