BlogNashville: Dave Winer - A Respectful Disagreement

+ Posted by Josh Hallett on 05.07.05 // 03:50 PM

We're in the Vince Gill Room waiting for Dave to start.

Dave's session was an out-growth of something he said during the 2004 Election. He knew that no matter who won the other side would not be happy. The election result would possibly cause the country to be ripped apart. So the question is how do we disagree with each other without burning bridges.

The purpose of this session is to debate on various topics but to keep the disagreement civil. Since many of the topics are political and religious in nature I probably will not blog much of this session.

Media Drop is live-blogging this session....so go there :-)

Or go to Scared Monkeys.

About 45 minutes in Dave has given up and has sat down, we are discussing amongst ourselves.

Here is Glenn Reynolds take on the session. Here is Les Jones take and Frank Paynter's notes.

Dave Winer has posted his recap.

My apologies for the mess of trackbacks, I assure you that it was not intentional. MovableType was indicating that the pings 'failed'...and with every update it was actually adding more. 'sorry, Paul

No problem, I cleaned them up.
