One of the side benefits of blogs is that they help increase your search engine positioning. Here is a great example of how I beat the Star Wars marketing machine!
Do a search for Darth Dew Slurpee on Google and my blog comes up before the official Star Wars site.
I posted the original Darth Dew entry this past weekend. I then started to notice quite a few referrals in my stats from Google using the term Darth Dew Slurpee.
Perhaps 7-Eleven should buy some advertising?
