B.L. Ochman says, "Hire a designer for your blog"

Listening in on the teleconference that B.L. Ochman is leading on Business Blogging. When asked about what a company should do if they want to start blogging, B.L. said, "first off hire a designer that can make your blog look good and integrates well with your existing web site." Sounds like a good advertisement for my services.

Graphic design and information design are key and something that I try to strive for on all my projects. This goes back to my 'form U function' mantra.

As for a tight integration between the design of a blog and an existing site, it really depends on the purpose of the blog. I can make a case for either direction. In some cases you might not want to make your blog look too corporate if you are trying to appear more informal.
