Remember Curious George's owner/handler the 'Man with the Yellow Hat'? What ever happened to him?

I saw the following photo yesterday and the first thing I thought of was, "boy the Man with the Yellow Hat has let himself go." Then I imagined a VH1 Where Are They Now special...'Life After Curious George'

Some of you will recognize him as the YellaWood Guy.

Extra points for making me almost spit out my coffee! Love the photo.
As for the Man in the Yellow Hat, I read Curious George to my kids, and the man's actions look pretty sinister in today's world. He steals the monkey, takes him to the city, sends him to jail, lets him go for a balloon ride unescorted. Sounds like a malicious, negligent creep to me...

I actually saw the YellaWood guy on a billboard in downtown Atlanta and said, "I've got to get a picture of that."
When I got home I checked their web site and they had him on the home page. Plus that's much safer than stopping in I-85 to take a picture.
