Recent Podcast Interview with the Hobson & Holtz Report

+ Posted by Josh Hallett on 06.18.05 // 08:52 AM

I had the opportunity to be interviewed by Neville Hobson yesterday for the Hobson and Holtz Report. The MP3 of the podcast is now available. The interview went really well. We had some intial Skype issues but they were quickly resolved before we got started.

If you read my blog and wanted to know what I 'sound' like, here is your chance. :-)

Update:Neville commented that the sound quality was very good on our Skype Call/Interview and wanted to know what my setup was.

I was using a Jabra BT200 Bluetooth headset with my Apple 17" PowerBook. Some of that quality might have come from the level of bandwidth I have at my Atlanta location. I have a cable modem via Charter Communications and have been blessed with very fast connectivity.

Not only hear what you sound like, Josh, but also see what you look like too. No, not a vidcast - your photo's with the shownotes ;)

A pleasure chatting with you yesterday. I think we had a great conversation.

By the way, just on a tech note, the overall sound of our conversation is very good indeed. You were using a Bluetooth headset connection with your Mac. What, exactly, is the hardware setup?

I updated the original post with m setup information.

Hitting the Mark.
Nice PodCast Josh, and a good set of questions from Neville. I think you were right on when you spoke about the great number of companies and organizations that have limited PR capacity in-house and who can't afford the "Ketchums" of the world, but could still benefit from the "intersection of technology and communication."

Good definition of your services and I liked your description of your target market. Let's get Neville to move his Florida vacation spot from South Beach to Celebration. (Can I borrow your headset?)
