Tax Free holiday started today in Georgia. Not being a Georgia native I was unaware of this, until I visited the Apple Store at Lenox Square. The place was crazy. Long lines, people buying machines left and right.
One guy bought three iBooks for his kids while I was waiting to checkout. I bought a new Shure microphone and recorded a quick podcast.

It should be interesting. You always sound funny to yourself on tape.

'This might be my first podcast?' I didn't know there was a gray area on this issue. Anyway, congrats on it. I look forward to your next one. Should I expect another story along those lines, perhaps about a recently painted handrail drying or maybe an ant proving it can carry 10 times its own body weight?

Melanie:
It might be a big step creatively, but if that's what you want to hear I think I could put something together. I'll keep my eye out for some drying paint :-)

Speak up! Sounds good, but quiet. Can't wait to hear the second one.

I was in the middle of Lenox Square so I didn't want to talk too loud. I bumped the levels a bit, but speaking up would be the easiest thing to do.

I hear Apple did quite well this Holiday Shopping Season. What was it, 10 million ipods sold? Amazing!
