According to ThePaceline.com Lance Armstrong will host Saturday Night Live on October 29, 2005 with Sheryl Crow as the musical guest.
I would hope that since Lance has some experience in front of the camera (mostly commercials) that he'll be a much better 'Athlete-host' than the infamous Wayne Gretzky episode.

In response to Josh Hallett's biased and jealous comment, Lance will make a fine host on SNL. Obviously Josh hasn't seen how articulate Lance has been, and how well he's handled himself and in the many public and national TV appearances he's made.
SNL is a commedy show. I'd expect to see some pay back, fun of course, made of all the people , like the French, who have needlessly given Lance so much grief.
