Over at China Law Blog, Dan Harris writes that China's state-owned telecom will soon launch a Redberry to complete with Blackberry. Dan notes:
I use my "crackberry" in China and it works beautifully. I also pay about $60 a month for international service. Press reports on "Redberry" have it costing around $1 (yes, one!) per month. Can one get international service on Redberry and use it in the United States?Wow, service for $1/month...that might just be worth having the Chinese government reading all my e-mail :-)
