The next few months are packed with conferences and speaking engagements. Let's look at next week....
I start off Monday morning with a visit to MyRegion.org in Orlando. From there I drive to Tampa to catch a JetBlue flight to New York City.
The next few days are spent in NYC for Syndicate hanging with the PR 2.0 gang of Brian Oberkirch, David Parmet and Mike Manuel to name a few. After David's PR panel on Wednesday I rush to the airport to fly back to Tampa.
First thing Thursday morning I am on a panel at the Florida Attractions Association Annual Conference in St. Petersburg, FL. That afternoon I head to Gainesville, FL.
Friday I'm on a panel for the Florida Public Relations Association - Gainesville Chapter professional development seminar. Friday night I 'land' back home for a 'short' weekend. Sunday, I head to Savannah, GA.
Monday the 22nd finds me speaking at the PRSA Counselor's Academy 2006 Spring Conference in Savannah. Next up is a quick trip down to West Palm Beach, FL on Tuesday/Wednesday to speak to the Insurers Public Relations Council.
June brings trips to Makinac Island, MI, speaking events for FPRA, PRSA and then Gnomedex at the end of the month. I'd love to take some time off in July but then there's BlogHer and some other events :-)
While the content at the conferences is always great, it's the interaction with friends/colleagues that makes the trips worthwhile. For example, Steve and I will cross paths three times.
