You Can Trust Me

Whenever I travel I typically fly out of Orlando International Airport (MCO). My frequency of travel has picked up so much over the past few months that I decided to sign-up for the trusted traveler program, aka Clear. If you're leaving on flights in the 7 am to 9 am range, skipping the bulk of the security line can be a good thing. Multiply that by a few trips a month and it's worth it. The other selling point was learning that Clear plans on opening up in San Jose, CA as well.

Yep, it's Clear

So just as I get my card (literally just got it) there is this article in USAToday: Trusted Traveler Program Slammed.

Will my small investment be a waste? We'll see, but even if no other airport besides Orlando uses the system it will still be worth it since MCO is my primary departure point.

I ask my other blog friends that travel quite a bit....Brian, David, Shel & Shel? Would you pay $75/year to skip the long line at security each time you fly? Remember you still have to go thru the metal detector, you just bypass everybody else.

I can't say yes to this, Josh. What I can say is, "HELL yes!!"

You bet I would, Josh. I can't wait for clear to get to the three airportsin the Bay Area. Funny though, I wouldn't spend $75 for a years subscription to USA Today.
