With 3-4 hours to kill in the Salt Lake City airport I decided to fork over the $9.95 and buy a wifi connection from SprintPCS. The service is useless. The connection speed is awful and just about every site I visit times out. Add the slow connection speed to the usual restrictions, i.e. can't SMTP or FTP and it's a wonderful customer experience :-)

I can confirm this experience. OMG, is that wifi frustrating. A complete beatdown. Whenever SprintPCS comes up as the wifi carrier in an airport, I cringe. Josh: you have to look for the Admiral's Club or something. Heh.
