Taking a cue for Joe Ito, I checked out my average speed on my plazes profie (click the My World tab).
My average travel speed is 557 km/day, or 23.21 km/hour, or 14.42 mph. I am not as fast as Joi's 48.68 mph, but it's still an interesting stat. Now when people say, "Josh, you're always on the go." I can respond, "yes, 14 miles per hour."
How do I know this? I've used plazes for almost a year now. It's a cool mapping/tracking application that tags where I've been. You can visit my contact page for an interactive map of my last 90 days of travel.
I need to work on that 'percentage of the world' stat.

Josh, I thought the 14 mph was your bicycle speed. I've been struggling to get mine to 15 mph. I figured if you were up to 14 with your recovering knee, you were doing alright.
