I don't claim to be the biggest football fan in the world, but it is interesting that the last University of Florida football game I went to was the Sugar Bowl ten years ago when UF won their first national championship. On New Year's Eve 1996, a group of us took an RV to New Orleans for the big game. The RV was soon nicknamed the 'Vomit Comet' since a bad case of stomach flu quickly went through all the passengers.

I spent 1990-1995 at UF and went to just about every home game, but once I left, the connection was lost to some degree. I don't have any plans to go this year, but I'll be watching the game. Go Gators!
