For some reason I always think of 'Planet Houston' when I say 'Houston'. Perhaps Terence Stamp playing General Zod in Superman II made a big impression on me as a child.
Anyway I am in Houston for two days for some client work. I had hoped to do a photowalk of the city today but it's quite overcast. Gratuitous airport interior shot below.

FWIW - I was visting family in Florida when I went to see that movie. And the fact that I remember those details tells me the movie made an impact on me as well. Maybe it's the combination of the movie and the state? Or not.

I lived in Houston for few years, and I remember one January when it rained 30 out of 31 days.
