BlogHer starts later this week in Chicago. I head up on Thursday and am really looking forward to it. In my recent travels around the country I've met quite a few people that are heading to BlogHer as well. I'm looking forward to catching up with old friends and meeting some new ones.
Last year's event was great, but it will be interesting to see if there is a different vibe away from California. I don't think so, but we'll see.
Are you going to BlogHer? I'm organizing a dinner for either Thursday or Saturday night.

I'm also wondering if the vibe will be different. Not just because it's away from California but because of the venue and the move between convention site to various hotels. Having it all in one place last year made it feel like nonstop conference fun, you just stepped out of your room and there were women bloggers everywhere, all day and night. :-)

I'm looking forward to it and to seeing you, too! I think blogger gatherings in general are a great way for people to find new ways to connect and this one has tremendous potential for women in particular to generate new ideas, projects and, of course, friendships. See you on Thursday!
