Great news on the upgrade. I've traveled to 2 different cities in the past week - and both trip (there AND back!) I've gotten upgrades to 1st. The one bad thing is that they don't give you the superduper extra extra bonus miles as MQM - but who cares at that point? Especially when you're talking about a long flight in some cases? Enjoy flying 1st class & living the glamorous life :)
